CHARITABLE
CAUSES
If you would like to make a donation to one of the charitable
causes that Anita supported, we have been informed by
Anita's family that they would like them
to be directed to the following charities:
BODY & SOUL is a unique UK charity supporting
children, teenagers and families living with, or closely affected
by HIV. BODY & SOUL's holistic approach encompasses both peer
and professional support and information, enabling people to face
the challenges of HIV. We provide Structured Group Support Sessions
within a safe environment where clients can meet others affected by
HIV and exchange vital support and information. Accessing BODY
& SOUL is often the start of a journey, which changes the
devastation of an HIV+ diagnosis into positive strategies to manage
the impact of HIV.

The National Coalition to Free the Angola
3 was formed in 1998 to find justice for three men locked
down at Angola, the Louisiana State Penitentiary, for nearly three
decades. They have been held in solitary confinement for the whole
time-the longest such stay ever recorded by Amnesty International
in the West.

Children on the Edge was founded by Dame Anita
Roddick in 1990 in response to the Romanian orphanage crisis, and
has since expanded to cover many other countries.
Children on the Edge exists for the most vulnerable and
marginalised children worldwide, ensuring they are heard and are
not invisible, are protected and have their needs met, advocating
for all of their rights in accordance with the principles and
provisions of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Children on the Edge helps children post conflict or post natural
disaster, refugees and migrant children, disabled children, as well
as those living in the context of HIV/AIDS, particularly those left
orphaned by this pandemic.
