the way we run our business, we believe that we can help protect
the environment and support sustainable development.
To do this we promote the use of renewable resources and
sustainable raw ingredients, supporting sustainable wood through
the use of Forest Stewardship Council certified wood products. We
actively strive to minimise waste and the unnecessary use of excess
packaging on our products. We use renewable energy, we are planting
trees to absorb the carbon we produce, and have committed to
becoming carbon neutral by 2010.
We listen to our stakeholders and work closely with WWF on palm oil
and wood to protect rainforests and preserve biodiversity. And our
leadership approach to the use of chemicals has been recognised by
Friends of the Earth, The US Breastcancer Fund and Greenpeace.
