Beverley Ashton
The Body Shop at Home Consultant, United Kingdom
"There is no other company like The Body Shop At Home™. Our
Values are at our heart and that's what makes us different. Of
course, the products are just gorgeous, and do what they say
they'll do, in fact they sell themselves, so as a Consultant I just
go and entertain!
The best bits about The Body Shop At Home™ are the sheer
flexibility, the fabulous earning opportunity... it's the best in
the business. This can lead to a marvellous career if that's what
someone is looking for. There's also the warm family feeling we all
have for one another. We genuinely embrace each other's
achievements and there is always someone there with support, help
and encouragement for anyone who is having a bad day. In my
opinion, home selling is the future and The Body Shop At Home is
always at the front setting the pace."
Rebecca Phillips
Global Head of Fragrance, London, United Kingdom
I joined The Body Shop because I came from retail
and just love product development. I also liked that it is a global
company, and respected the Company's commitment to its Values. It
was a great decision; I have been here nearly 4 years and worked in
most categories. The Body Shop works really hard to develop people.
I started as Senior Product Manager of Wellbeing, then moved to
Bath and Body, and even spent 5 months in America as Director of
Skincare and Make-up to gain cross cultural learning and understand
the retail and operational side of the business. Since I moved back
to London I have been promoted to Global Head of Fragrance.
Iris Dicke
Store Manager
Dordrecht, The Netherlands
Four years ago I started as a part time employee at
The Body Shop, in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. Since then I have
worked my way up to Store Manager. It's a challenging and
interesting job, where no two days are the same. And I really
believe in The Body Shop philosophy, which means I can earn money,
but I'm also doing something good for our environment. I'm proud to
work here and think that more companies should see The Body Shop as
an example.
Peggy Cheng
Training and Development Manager
Hong Kong & Macau
I like working at The Body Shop as it gives me the
freedom to do things that are good for the organisation. Of course,
this relies on our knowledge of the market and understanding of the
Company's culture, Values and direction. It is a company that
encourages an open-door policy and two-way communication. Plus, the
Values of The Body Shop increases my awareness of people's needs
and protects the planet.
